Earlier on Sunday, many bureaucrats enjoyed the fact that Aamir Khan, in his highly acclaimed show Satyamev Jayate, featured a 2004 batch IAS officer Dr Samit Sharma as a hero. One of the visitors alerted BoI, “Dr. Samit , who appeared in today's show was a doctor who turned into an IAS”. Sharma who as MD of Rajasthan Healthcare Services, is instrumental in making cheaper medicines available to aam aadmi. Dr Sharma is a child specialist-turned IAS. In an era of bureaucracy-bashing, Aamir's appreciation of an IAS won the hearts of thousands of babus.
