What PM Modi says about Team PMO

Misra and Mishra of PMO
IF YOU check out the official website of India’s prime minister’s office (PMO) and go through the RTI section, you will come across a sub-head called “official working hours”. It is 9 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday excluding Gazetted holidays, it mentions. But the reality is when the PM himself works till late night, there is no chance for the junior staff to log out at 5.30 pm. And on the day, when Modi Sarkar completed a year, PM Modi chose to sit down with PMO officials and…
praised the officers, as “Team PMO,” for their hard work and dedication.
Prime Minister further said that his experience had been that government functionaries and the common man, think alike, and if given the right atmosphere, the government machinery can deliver results for the common man, according to a statement issued by the PMO.
PM was greeted on his arrival in South Block on Tuesday morning by principal secretary Nripendra Misra and additional principal secretary PK Mishra.
In the PMO, the three senior-most officials are Nripendra Misra, NSA Ajit Doval and PK Mishra, in that order. Assisted by additional secretary Bhaskar Khulbe, it’s PK Mishra who takes the call on major appointments at the Central government. AK Sharma, a Gujarat cadre IAS of 1988 batch and the one who was with Modi when the latter was the chief minister, monitors infrastructure-related issues such as roads, railways, power, coal etc. in the PMO. He is assisted by director Santosh Vaidya, 1998 batch IAS. The subjects such as finance, corporate affairs etc. are with joint secretary TV Somanathan, 1987 batch Tamil Nadu cadre IAS. And he is assisted by director Brajendra Navnit, 1999 batch IAS, also of Tamil Nadu cadre.
And the 1991 batch IFS officer in the PMO who handles external affairs, and monitors and follows up PM’s visits abroad is joint secretary Jawed Ashraf.
