Among the officers who will be formally inducted into IAS include 15 from AGMUT cadre, six from Karnataka, seven from Maharashtra and eight from Tamil Nadu.
The course has been designed to provide the participants a perspective on the All India Services and the policy environment in the country, according to the joining instruction – a document prepared by LBSNAA. Project appraisal and public private partnership (PPP) will be part of the training module.
As the participants will be taken on a foreign exposure visit, they are requested to bring their official (white) passport. If for some reason white passport is not available, the participant may bring their personal (blue) passport instead, according to joining instructions.
And mind it, no officer will be allowed to attend classes by wearing a T-shirt! In formal occasions, women probationers will have to wear Saree, Salwar-Suit, Formal Western Wear etc. whereas for ceremonial occasions, only Saree is allowed. For men, the dress is Blazer - Tie 1 Lounge Suit with formal shoes. For ceremonial purposes, the dress code for men is black or white buttoned up coat (Bandhgala) with black or white trousers respectively. Black or white Sherwani with white chooridar will also be allowed.
