induction training programme in the academy till August 13, 2017. The course team comprises of course coordinator Mansoor H Khan and deputy directors Alok Misra, Mrs. Thulasi Maddineni and Mrs. Alankrita Singh. The training programme is designed to provide participants an overall perspective of the All India Services, according to a statement issued by LBSNAA. Retired IAS and former union urban development secretary Sudhir Krishna is the chief guest of the training programme being held between July 3 and August 13.

Till the end of last month, 2015 batch IAS officers were undertaking training at LBSNAA. The valedictory function of IAS professional course phase-II (2015 batch) was held on June 30 at the academy with Uttarakhand chief secretary S Ramaswamyas the chief guest. Ms Thulasi Maddineni was the course coordinator. As many as 184 officer trainees including three from RBCS (Royal Bhutan Civil Services) participated in that course. The Director’s shield and certificate for being first in order of merit in Phase-II final examination was awarded to Ms Ira Singhal, the topper of batch. The officers of that batch are currently serving in various Central government ministries in New Delhi as assistant secretaries.
