Special Director of Enforcement, Delhi. He too will be posted in ED on deputation basis. Meanwhile, the competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post of secretary, department of expenditure to Subhash Chandra Garg, 1983 batch Rajasthan cadre lAS from April 3 to 9, when incumbent Ajay Narayan Jha is on leave. Garg will handle expenditure department in addition to his prime duty as secretary, department of economic affairs (DEA).
In another development, Subrata Bhattacharjee, a 1989 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, currently joint secretary in the ministry of external affairs (MEA), has been appointed as the next ambassador of India to Serbia.
Further, Pankaj Gupta, a 1998 batch Indian Cost Accounts Service officer, has been appointed as Director in the Fertilizers Industry Coordination Committee (FICC), an agency that comes under the department of fertilizers.
