THE government’s personnel department, DoPT, on Tuesday gave its nod to cadre change of three IAS officers on the ground of marriage. Whereas one officer changes cadre from Manipur to Maharashtra, the other two officers change their cadres from AGMUT to Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh to Uttar Pradesh. The three IAS couples are the following:
MJ Pradip Chandren of 2012 batch and Buveneswari S of 2015 batch, Artika Shukla and Jasmeet Singh Sandhu — both belonging to 2016 batch, and then Dr Nitin Gaur of 2016 batch and Saumya Pandey of 2017 batch.
Here are the details of their cadre change:
MJ Pradip Chandren, a 2012 batch Manipur cadre IAS, gets the government's nod for cadre change to Maharashtra cadre on the ground of marriage to Buveneswari S, a 2015 batch Maharastra cadre IAS. Chandren, 32, originally belongs to Tamil Nadu. He is a mechanical engineer-turned IAS officer. Buveneswari S, 28, also belongs to Tamil Nadu, according to DoPT records.
In another order, DoPT on Tuesday said that Artika Shukla, a 2016 AGMUT cadre IAS, was given nod for cadre change from AGMUT to Rajasthan cadre on the ground of marriage to Jasmeet Singh Sandhu, also a 2016 batch Rajasthan cadre IAS. Artika Shukla, 27, belongs to Uttar Pradesh. Jasmeet Singh Sandhu, 30, hails from Delhi.
Meanwhile, the government has allowed the inter cadre transfer of Dr Nitin Gaur, a 2016 batch Chhattisgarh cadre IAS to Uttar Pradesh cadre on ground of marriage to Saumya Pandey, a 2017 batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS. Gaur, 33, is from Delhi and was posted as assistant collector in Sarguja in Chhattisgarh. Saumya Pandey, an all India 4th ranker holder in 2016 civil services examination, belongs to Uttar Pradesh's city of Allahabad.
