THE government has approved the inter-cadre transfer of Ms Akriti Sagar, 2016 batch Karnataka cadre IAS from Karnataka to AGMUT cadre on the ground of her marriage to 2016 batch AGMUT cadre IPS officer, Sudhanshu. Aakriti Sagar, 26, originally belongs to a small town of Uttar Pradesh
— Bareilly. According to reports published after her selection into IAS, she is a product of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi. She was ranked 239 in the civil services examination, 2015. She is presently serving as an assistant secretary at the Centre. Meanwhile, IPS officer Sudhanshu is 31 years old, according to records available with the ministry of home affairs (MHA). The other details such as educational background, postings etc. are not available.
In an unrelated appointment news, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Tuesday appointed Swaminathan Gurumurthy and Satish Kashinath Marathe as part-time nonofficial directors of the central board of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
Meanwhile, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd’s executive director Pradeep Gaur has been appointed as RVNL’s new chairman and managing director (CMD).
