New CVOs appointed from IRS-IT, IFoS, IRSS, IDES officers; Full List

EARLY this week, the government has engineered a major reshuffle of the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO)-ranked bureaucrats, curtailing the tenure of some, while appointing a new set of officers. The new CVOs belong to services such as IRS-IT, IFoS, IRSS, Indian Defence Estates Service etc. Here below is the full list:

1. Ms S Uma Venkatesan, 1994 batch IRS-IT officer, has been appointed as CVO of Cochin Port Trust (CoPT) Kochi.

2. The government has curtailed the tenure of Rajit Punhani, 1991 batch Bihar cadre IAS, as CVO of  NTPC.

3. The government has curtailed the tenure of Rajeev Chandra Joshi, 1994 batch Assam cadre IAS, as CVO of ONGC, Delhi.

4. PJ Vijayakar, 1993 batch Indian Forest Service officer, presently the CVO of Hindustan Shipyard Ltd, has been appointed as the CVO of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL), Visakhapatnam.

5. Jenendra Kumar Jain, 1988 batch Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME) officer, has been appointed as Indian Telephones Industries Ltd (ITI), Bengaluru.

6. Pranai Prabhakar, 1991 batch IRTS officer, has been appointed as CVO of the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), Delhi.

7. Suresh Menghnani, 1991 batch IRSS officer, has been appointed as CVO of Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

8. Bhawani Prakash Gupta, 1992 batch UD cadre Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer, has been appointed as CVO of Tehri Hydro Development Corporation of India Ltd (THDC), Rishikesh.  

9. Akash Taneja, 1990 batch Indian Trade Service officer, has been appointed as the CVO of  railway PSU, Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR), Delhi.

10. Pradeep Kumar, 1995 batch Indian Post and Telecommunication Accounts and Finance Service officer, has been appointed as CVO of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL), Delhi.

11. Saud Hasan Khan, 1991 batch Indian Defence Estates Service (IDES) officer, has been appointed as CVO of National Textiles Corporation (NTC), Delhi.

12. The government has curtailed the tenure of Dipankar Mahto, 1998 batch Indian Post and Telecommunication Accounts and Finance Service officer, as CVO of Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd (GRSE), Kolkata.
