THE government has empanelled 10 Indian Audit and Account Service officers — six from 1997 and four from 1998 batch — as GOI joint secretary or joint secretary-equivalent. Here below is the list of the officers with their batches:

Earlier this month, the government empanelled six officers -- two from Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IAAS) and one each from Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE), Indian Forest Service (IFoS) and Indian Economic Service (IES), as GoI secretary or secretary equivalent. 2. Meenakshi Gupta, IAAS, 1984 batch; empanelled as secretary/secretary equivalent
3. VK Yadav, IRSEE, 1981 batch; empanelled as secretary equivalent
